Well, with all the unexpected changes to life around here recently, I thought I’d just check in really quickly and let you know what you can find at Close To My Heart (CTMH) and at Wild Goose Crafts.

The following stamp sets are part of the various National Scrapbooking Day (Saturday, May 2, 2020) kits available in my CTMH shop. They are appropos of our current predicament,

and can be used to make things like these cards:

There is a free online CTMH event in connection with National Scrapbooking Day which will give you an inkling of what exactly all those crazy scrapbookers and cardmakers are doing anyhow. You can register for it at the CTMH Facebook page (no purchase necessary…you can just watch and see what goes on for as long as you like).

Now…why is there a bunch of cards having to do with quilting at the top of this post? Glad you asked. It’s because many of us sewists have tons of scraps and have been spending tons of time lately making…yes, facemasks, kid-sized (for people over the age of 2–never put a facemask on a baby) on the left, and adult-sized on the right :

And here is the bio-major (hence the fabric) daughter unit modeling one:

If you find you’re having trouble finding sturdy fabric facemasks made of quilting cotton (and these have been sewn three times around–they’re not falling apart anytime soon), head over to the Wild Goose Crafts Facebook page and send me a message. I’ll try to help you out. Thanks, and be well!
